Due to the rising of new business, competition is getting cutthroat. The competitor were offering the same service we have at a lesser cost. We operate a spa and beauty saloon. I was beginning to worry so I cut down some of the operating cost. Then one day when I was writing a check for our supplier, I remembered what my grandmother told me. It does not matter how great your product is or how cheap it is. At the end of the day, the customer will go back to the place where he feels he got the best treatment. It is true that no matter how good the foot spa you made to the customer and no matter how much discount you gave her, the quality of your customer relation will determine if she will go back to you. A happy customer is a loyal customer.
Our business started out in a small stall in the busiest shopping area in our town. We sell coffee on the go. We only have two coffee makers, a mini fridge, a small glass stand and a lot of smiles. Since people are very busy and they are running for something most of the time, they tend to be irritable and with very tired. So when a customer place an order, we will make it a point to give his order in less than two minutes with a smile. If the customer stays for a sip in one of our two tables, my father will give him the morning newspaper and a cold face towel. Customers who are very busy take time to enjoy their coffee with a cold towel in their nape. Now we are operating a big coffee corporation, we sell more expensive coffees but the smile in the faces of all the employees never fades along with the cold face towel.
